We are the Wirral Chinese Association

The Wirral Chinese Association (WCA) was set up in 1988 with funding from Task Force, Wirral Council and Merseyside Development Corporation. The Association’s Multicultural Centre opened in May 1992 as a social centre for local Chinese, Asian and Vietnamese people.

Here's some of what we do:

This Club is co-ordinated by Ms. Tieu Binh Tien. Members meet on Tuesdays at Wirral Change. The club provides a nutritious traditional home cooked style hot meal for the elders.

The school was founded by Ms Ivy Chee in September 1993. We teach a from ages 2-70, you’re never too old to learn! We also have GCSE, A-level, 11+ and one to one tutoring for younger students.

Members of the WG meet regularly for social gatherings. They organize Day Trips out and social activities for the Community. These are especially popular with the elders and their families.

The group organizes cultural activities to promote the learning of Chinese Culture through dance and healthy exercise. They perform locally, bringing delightful entertainments to all!
